AI Autopilot

Let AI generate and schedule posts for your social accounts automatically, based on your brand settings and content goals.

What is AI Autopilot?

AI Autopilot is a feature that automatically generates social media posts and adds them to your schedule at the frequency you choose. Instead of manually writing every post, Autopilot creates content based on your brand voice, content goals, and chosen themes — then publishes or queues the posts for your review.

Autopilot is designed for teams and individuals who want to maintain a consistent social media presence without spending hours writing posts each week.

Requirements

Plan requirement: Business plan or above.

Before you can enable AI Autopilot, you need:

  • Business plan or above — Autopilot is not available on Free or Starter plans. Upgrade from Settings → Billing.
  • At least one connected social account with an Active status. Autopilot cannot publish to expired or revoked connections.
  • Sufficient AI credits — each Autopilot-generated post uses AI credits. Autopilot pauses automatically if your credit balance reaches zero.

Setting up Autopilot

Who can use this: Workspace Owner or Admin. Plan requirement: Business and above.

  1. Navigate to AI Studio from the sidebar.
  2. Select the Autopilot tab at the top of the AI Studio page.
  3. Click Set up Autopilot or Configure if Autopilot has not been set up for this workspace yet.
  4. Select target accounts — choose which of your connected social accounts Autopilot should generate posts for. You can enable it for one or all accounts.
  5. Set posting frequency — choose how many posts per day or per week Autopilot should generate and schedule.
  6. Configure posting schedule — select the days of the week and preferred time slots for posts to be published.
  7. Set content goals and themes — provide topics, themes, product names, or a description of what you want to post about. The more specific you are, the more relevant the generated content will be.
  8. Choose a publishing mode (see below).
  9. Click Activate Autopilot to start it.

Publishing modes

Autopilot offers three modes that control how generated posts are handled before they go live:

Draft Only

Autopilot generates posts and saves them as drafts. Nothing is scheduled or published automatically. Review the drafts in your Queue and manually schedule or publish the ones you approve. This gives you full control before anything goes public.

Requires Approval

Autopilot generates and schedules posts, but marks them as Pending Approval. An approver (Owner, Admin, or any team member with the CLIENT_REVIEWER role) must review and approve each post before it publishes. This is recommended for agencies managing client accounts.

Auto-Publish

Autopilot generates, schedules, and publishes posts without any manual review. Posts go live at the scheduled time automatically. You can still review and edit generated posts in your Queue before the scheduled time.

Use Auto-Publish with care. In Auto-Publish mode, all AI-generated posts go live without review. Review the content goals and brand voice settings thoroughly before enabling this mode. You can change the mode at any time.

Reviewing auto-generated posts

Regardless of the publishing mode, you can review all Autopilot-generated posts in your Queue.

  1. Navigate to Queue from the sidebar.
  2. Posts generated by Autopilot are labelled with an AI badge so you can identify them easily.
  3. Click a post to open it. You can edit the caption, media, or schedule before it publishes.
  4. In Requires Approval mode, click Approve on the post card to allow it to publish, or Reject to prevent it from publishing and remove it from the queue.

Pausing and resuming Autopilot

  1. Navigate to AI Studio → Autopilot.
  2. Click the Pause toggle or button. Autopilot immediately stops generating new posts. Existing scheduled posts in your Queue are not affected.
  3. To resume, return to the same page and click Resume. Autopilot resumes generating posts based on the existing schedule.
Tip: Autopilot also pauses automatically when your AI credit balance reaches zero. It resumes automatically when you top up credits or at the start of your next billing cycle.

Credit consumption

Each post that Autopilot generates consumes AI credits from your workspace balance. The exact number of credits used per post depends on the length and complexity of the generated content.

To estimate how long your credits will last with Autopilot active:

  • Check your current credit balance in Settings → Billing → AI Credits.
  • Review the average credit cost per post shown in the Autopilot settings panel.
  • Set a workspace spending limit (see below) to cap the maximum credits Autopilot can use.

Setting a workspace spending limit

To prevent Autopilot from consuming more credits than you intend, set a monthly spending limit for the workspace.

  1. Navigate to AI Studio → Autopilot.
  2. In the Credit limits section, enter a maximum number of credits per month for Autopilot to use.
  3. Click Save limit.

Once Autopilot reaches the spending limit for the month, it pauses automatically, even if you still have credits in your global balance. The limit resets on your billing anniversary date.
